Purchasing Images
StockFood's entire image collection is available in low-resolution format. Only images with a high-resolution icon are available to purchase in high-resolution.
Price Calculator
Click on the "Account" button found at the top of the screen. A list of options should appear. Click on the "Price Calculator" button. You can find the cost of an image by supplying the needed information in the space provided. Click on the calculate button to receive a price.
Purchasing From Image Search
Once you find the image that you wish to purchase, click on the "shopping cart" icon found below the image. The image should then be added to your cart. You have the ability to delete and add images to your cart as you go.
Once you have chosen the images that you would like to purchase, click on the "check out button to move onto the next step. Enter your account and credit information into the spaces provided. StockFood, Inc. accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. Once your credit card information is entered, click on the "purchase" button.
Easy Purchase
Click on the "Cart" button found at the top of the screen. A list of options should appear. Click on the "Quick Purchase" button.
- Step 1: Enter the image numbers of the images you wish to purchase in the space provided. If you have several images that you wish to purchase, separate each image by a comma before you enter them. Once you enter the number of the image that you wish to purchase; the image should be directly added to your cart.
- Step 2: Once you enter an image number, you can choose which image size you need. You must agree to StockFood's licensing agreement before you can continue with your purchase. Click "continue" to move on to the next step.
- Step 3: This step allows you to verify your website registration. If there are any problems with your information you can edit your profile. (See above) If all of your information is correct, you can enter your account information in the spaces provided. Click on the "Complete" button to solidify your order.
Downloading
In order to download your image, click on the "download image" button. The image will be downloaded directly to your computer Downloaded images come in two sizes. Depending on what type of project you are using the image for you can choose either a low resolution or high-resolution file. A low-resolution file or comp-sized image will be 8" x 10" and 72 ppi. A high-resolution file will be 9" x 12" and 350 ppi
File Compression
The downloaded file will be a compressed JPEG file, saved at the maximum quality setting. The file will be compressed due to the enormous size of an uncompressed file. An uncompressed 50mb file would take 1 or more hours to download on most systems. The compressed JPEG file is only about 1mb in size.
Custom Scans
Sometimes our standard file sizes may not be big enough for your project. If this problem does arise, you can call our office at 1-800-967-0229 and ask for the image to be custom scanned. Depending on the dimensions and resolution you have requested, we can usually get a custom scan to you in 1-2 hours.
Past Purchases
If you need to view your previous purchases, click on the "Previous Purchase" button on the top of the screen. All of your past purchases should be listed on the following page.
