Few world class food photographers have taken to the challenge of filming food in action quite like Colin Cooke. When he took up his video camera, he brought his wide commercial experience to the excitement offered by movement. He can turn a drop of water into an aqua-ballet and a bowl of cereal into modern art. But he likes to keep things simple and let the food speak for itself. He is always alert to texture and the essence of his subject.
His passion for photography began when he was still in high school. In his sophomore year he took a summer school course in photography and found his voice and future career. He became High School yearbook photographer at the age of 15 and has been shooting ever since.
